The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) has named Freedom Law Principal Attorney Charissa Potts in the 2019 class of its 40 under 40 program, which identifies professionals under the age of 40 and recognizes them for leadership and professional accomplishments.
Charissa is active member of several organizations. She is co-chair of the Federal Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee and is on the planning committee for ABI’s Shapero Cup Moot Court Competition. She is also a board member and volunteer attorney for Access to Bankruptcy Court, a non-profit that provides bankruptcy services to indigent debtors.
ABI received more than 350 applications. Candidates are chosen from firms nationwide in areas that include law, finance, consulting, academia and government.
